Aqua K-Othrine

Aqua K-Othrine by ENVU is a Deltamethrin 2% EW insecticide developed for professional adult mosquito management. Unlike conventional oil- or diesel-based fogging products, Aqua K-Othrine is diluted with water, helping reduce diesel consumption, operational costs, smoke and pollution during space-spray treatments.

The formulation uses Film-Forming Aqueous Suspension Technology, or FFAST, which helps control the evaporation of spray droplets. This allows optimally sized droplets to remain airborne for longer and travel more effectively through the treated area, improving exposure of flying adult mosquitoes to the insecticide.

Aqua K-Othrine is approved by the Central Insecticides Board in India for use as a space spray and is suitable for organised vector-control operations in indoor and outdoor areas.

Recommended Application

Thermal Fogging:
Dilute 25 ml of Aqua K-Othrine in 5–10 litres of water to cover approximately 1 hectare.

ULV Fogging:
Dilute 50 ml of Aqua K-Othrine in 1 litre of water to cover approximately 1 hectare.

According to ENVU, one litre of Aqua K-Othrine can provide coverage for up to approximately 40 hectares when used at the recommended thermal-fogging application rate.
