Kingfog ULV

Kingfog ULV by ENVU is a concentrated space-spray formulation developed to reduce high populations of adult mosquitoes in outdoor areas. It is applied using suitable thermal-fogging or ULV-fogging equipment, which converts the prepared formulation into fine airborne droplets.

These droplets come into contact with flying adult mosquitoes present in the treatment area. Kingfog acts through contact action and produces a rapid knockdown effect by interfering with normal nerve transmission in susceptible insects. Its formulation promotes quick action while requiring a very low amount of active ingredient per hectare.

Kingfog ULV is effective against the major mosquito groups associated with vector-borne diseases, including Aedes, Culex and Anopheles. ENVU recommends it for outdoor public-health mosquito management and situations where adult mosquito populations need to be reduced quickly.

For adult mosquito control over approximately 1 hectare or 10,000 m²:

• Kingfog ULV: 50 ml
• Diesel dilution: 0.5 litre
• Active ingredient application: 0.5 g per hectare

These quantities are taken from ENVU’s product leaflet. Equipment calibration, droplet size and the original product-label directions must be followed during application.

Mode of Action

Kingfog acts on mosquitoes through direct contact and produces a rapid knockdown effect. Deltamethrin affects normal nerve transmission in the insect body, resulting in paralysis and control of susceptible adult mosquitoes.

Important Application Instructions

• Use only outdoors and for approved public-health applications.

Safety and Handling

Wear protective gloves, a face mask, protective clothing, an apron and rubber boots during handling and application. Avoid inhaling the fog or spray mist. Because the formulation and diesel dilution are flammable, keep them away from flames, sparks, hot surfaces and unprotected electrical equipment. Wash exposed skin thoroughly and change contaminated clothing after application.

Prevent the product from entering ponds, drains and other water bodies, as the safety data sheet classifies it as highly toxic to aquatic life. Store it securely in its original container, away from children, food and animal feed. In case of accidental exposure or suspected poisoning, seek medical assistance immediately and show the original label or container.
