Mammillaria carmenae (Isla Carmen pincushion) is a small, rarely solitary, and often clustering Mexican cactus renowned for being soft and “friendly” due to its dense, flexible, non-sharp spines. It features globose stems covered in white, yellow, or pinkish bristles and produces a spring crown of small cream or pink flowers.
