Young Love Rain Lily Zephyranthes Flower Bulbs

Young Love Rain Lily – Zephyranthes Flower Bulbs

Young Love Rain Lily is an ornamental bulb grown for funnel-shaped red flowers with bright yellow centres. Narrow, grass-like leaves form compact clumps, making the plants attractive in pots, edging, pathways and flower beds. Established rain lilies may flower in flushes after rain or generous watering in their active growing season.

🌱 Practical planting and care guide

Planting and position: Plant dormant bulbs or corms in open, well-draining soil. Use planting depth and spacing printed on the packet; orient the growing point upwards when identifiable.

Watering: Water once after planting, then as necessary during active growth. Keep soil moist rather than waterlogged and reduce watering during dormancy.

Possible problems: Inspect for bulb rot, mould and pest damage. Improve drainage, remove rotting bulbs and avoid storing bulbs in damp conditions.

Flowering or harvest: Allow healthy leaves to finish feeding the bulb after flowering before cutting them back. Flowering period and dormancy depend on species and climate.

Use packet-specific instructions for the exact variety, growing region and season. Natural germination and flowering vary.
