Bamboo plants

Bamboo is a diverse group of fast-growing, evergreen perennial plants belonging to the true grass family Poaceae (subfamily Bambusoideae). Ranging from tiny species to giant timber bamboo (up to 40+ meters), they are characterized by hollow, woody, and segmented stems known as culms. They are among the fastest-growing plants globally, with some species growing over 90 cm per day, utilizing a unique rhizome-dependent system.
