Plant Care

• Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the top 2–3 cm of the potting mix to begin drying before watering again. Avoid waterlogging.
• Temperature: Generally 18–30°C. Protect from cold drafts and prolonged temperatures below about 15°C.
• Sunlight: Bright, indirect or filtered light. Avoid harsh afternoon sun.
• Fertilizer: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer at low to half strength every 4–6 weeks during active growth.
• Soil: Use a loose, airy, fast-draining aroid mix with bark, coco chips/coir and perlite or pumice.
• Humidity: Moderate to high humidity, commonly around 60–80%, with good air circulation.
• Sowing: Fresh viable seed can be sown shallowly on a moist, airy sterile medium and kept warm and humid.
• Reproduction: Depending on the species, propagation may be by division, offsets, rooted stem sections/cuttings or fresh seed.
